The Midland Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in locating a teenager who has been missing since early this week. Authorities say the 16-year-old was last seen on Monday afternoon near the 2000 block of West Wall Street. Family members reported the teen missing late Tuesday evening after they failed to return home.

Officials describe the missing juvenile as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a slim build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers. Police have not released a name at this time, pending notification of extended family.

Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby businesses and conducting interviews with friends and classmates. They have not identified any signs of foul play but are treating the case with urgency. The teen does not have a vehicle and is believed to be on foot.

Anyone with information about the teen's whereabouts is urged to contact the Midland Police Department at 432-685-7108. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-8477.
