JENKINTOWN – In a significant move to address technology disparities, Manor College has been awarded 200 laptops through the PA Broadband Authority’s Digital Connectivity Technology Program (DCTP). These laptops will be available for loan to students and local residents, aiming to bridge the technological divide in the communities served by the college.
The DCTP focuses on providing advanced technology resources to individuals who may lack access, ensuring that they can fully participate in educational and professional opportunities. This initiative is particularly crucial in today's digital age, where access to technology is essential for academic success and career advancement.
Manor College's commitment to supporting its community is evident through this program, as it empowers individuals by equipping them with the necessary tools to thrive. By facilitating access to these laptops, the college is taking a proactive step in fostering digital equity and enhancing learning experiences for both students and the surrounding neighborhoods.
